Milestones of our company
A lot has happened over the years in our long existence.
Foundation 1984
The sole proprietorship Büchler Trommelbau is founded and has its modest beginnings in a small workshop at Austrasse 45,
Integration of the company Sacher Trommelbau 1997
The company André Steiner Trommelbau, formerly Sacher Trommelbau, is integrated into the company and merged into Büchler & Steiner GmbH.
Expansion with in-house carpentry 1998
In order to better and faster respond to the special needs of customers, an in-house carpentry workshop is established.
Production of drumheads 1999
With the purchase of two metal forming machines, we are establishing our own production facility for drumheads. Our own brands, “ROTEX” and “EASY,” will now be manufactured in-house.
New company name 2003
After the retirement and unfortunately much too early death of André Steiner, the company name is changed to Büchler Trommelbau GmbH. 3 more employees are hired and Reto Lippold becomes a partner.
Move to Allschwilerstrasse 2014
With the demolition of the property on Leimenstrasse, our business moves to Allschwilerstrasse and has a new store with a large display window.
Geschäftsübergabe 2023
Walter Büchler is handing over the company “Büchler Trommelbau GmbH” to his long-time employee Lukas Hirt.
Company Anniversary 2024
The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary!
